Transforming a room in your home to reflect a favorite vacation can be a fun way to spend a weekend by “checking in” to your very own hotel room! Here are some tips for creating a “seaside” experience.
1. Use “themed” accessories. We used shells, wicker, grass rug, “beach” inspired words, and red coral lamps to create this retreat!
2. Stick with a color palette. Red, white and blue was our inspiration for all those 4th of July’s spent at the beach!
3. Learn how to make an inviting bed, or copy a bed from your favorite hotel. Nothing says Rest and Relaxation like a bed you want to run and jump into!
We found all the inspiration and accessories we needed to create this “STAY-CATION” themed room by collecting enough items from around the house… chances are, you will have everything you need right in your own home too!
