Bring the Outside In! - Tweak Your Space

If gardening and the outdoors is a passion of yours, here is what we did to create this casually elegant dining room inspired by the outdoors.

Repainting the walls a cool blue color gave this dining room a fresh and airy feel. We replaced the dining table with a distressed “simpler” looking one that you might find in a potting shed. Used slip covered chairs for a more relaxed look and a bench covered in burlap. We topped the whole thing off with outdoor lanterns from Pottery Barn and surrounded an ivy topiary in a distressed terracotta pot with the homeowner’s collection of wooden candlesticks and Cantonese porcelain.
