Overview

What do you get when you mix ancient artifacts with a vintage, historic home? You get a fun and quirky space begging for a Tweak!

Built in 1939, the home presented some challenges for current day living. For one, the front door sits smack dab in the middle of a long, rectangular space that divides the room into two. The two resulting spaces were too small on their own to successfully accommodate this family of five without feeling cramped. Herein lies the question, “What do you do with the leftover space left when the natural inclination is to focus your living space around the fireplace and TV?” See how we overcame these challenges by creating modern spaces that incorporated their loves of Sub-Saharan art and mid-century modern decor.
